Rusty Woodward, CFA®, CAIA®

As Chief Investment Officer, Rusty leads the firm’s investment strategy and heads Asset
Advisors’ investment committee. Rusty is driven to build portfolios that genuinely help
clients reach their goals. What draws him to markets is the constant need to learn, the
uniqueness of each day, and the ever-present intersection of strategy, human behavior,
and analysis.

Rusty grew up in Vienna, Georgia and holds a BBA in Finance and a BBA in Economics
from the University of Georgia. In 2017 Rusty earned the right to use the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation and in 2020, he earned the right to use the Chartered
Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

He began his career as a Corporate Banking Analyst with BB&T in Dallas, Texas before
transitioning to an Investment Analyst role with Sterling Capital Management in Raleigh,
NC.

In his free time, Rusty enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and twins, James
and Bebe. He volunteers at the Episcopal Day School, where his children are students.
He also enjoys playing golf, cooking, fly fishing and spending time with friends.
